My Writing

After many years of writing, my first book was published in December 2012.

The book, entitled "A Time for Every Purpose Under Heaven: One Woman's Trip to Africa-My Story", is the memoir of my mission trip to Kenya in 2006. I had been working on it for three years, but it was only when I turned it over to God, that the book came together. For whatever reason - well, actually for God's reason - it had taken that long to really be finished.

Sometime in 2010, I finished a short devotional book outlining the story of the birth of Christ. "The Christmas Story in 40 Days" was published in 2013 and my second devotional "The Early Life of Jesus in 40 Days" came out the following year. 

My first novel is about an American woman who befriends a lost Maasai boy in Kenya, only to realize she is nearly as lost as he is. I started writing it in 2011 and finally finished it in August 2016. "Where the Sky Meets the Sand" was published in the summer of 2017.  

I've been working on my second novel and several memoirs. I've got at least three more ideas for books roaming around in my head.
