Here, we are at the end of another week. I was on vacation all week, camping off of Lake Superior. Didn't have any internet access, but I had my laptop and electricity, so you would think I would have written SOMETHING. No, not really.
I can only give myself a three out of 16 for reaching my goals this week. I did however attend a one day writer's workshop yesterday, so that should count for something. I learned lots about the business of writing, as well as making new contacts.
There really were people at this conference. Everybody must be at lunch.I tried to make friends with the alpacas. It was held on an alpaca farm so I had to take in the atmosphere. And honestly, there really were people at this event
Awww, the alpacas are adorable!! What a lovely place for a conference. Hope the week was at least relaxing and you can get back to your schedule this week!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lauren. The conference was great - wonderful to be in such a relaxed setting. Now I am all fired up to be super ambitious this week.
DeleteLove the alpacas! There are many benefits to getting away from work for a few days. You'll see things you were too tired to see before, and after the conference, you'll be more focused on your dreams. Have a great ROW80 week!
ReplyDeleteP.S. - It's funny that you included alpacas in your post for today; I wrote about goats in mine. :)
Thanks for the comment, Kathrese. My dream is to have a small farm with alpacas and goats and who knows what else. As if then I would have time to write!
