Am I on top of the world?

Well, finally I have made some progress, scoring a ten out of sixteen on my goal-a-meter. This week, I posted three times on my other blog, twice I added to my social networks, I wrote on my novel for three hours, I did research for my novel, and last and most impressive, I submitted a short story to Glimmertrain magazine. It still would appear I have to get down to some serious writing on my novel, but for once I have made progress.

Have I reached the top yet? I sure hope not. There is always more to do

The picture was taken from on top of Brockway Mountain in Michigan's UP while we were camping up there last week. Isn't this a beautiful view of Lake Superior?

  1. Progress always feels great! Congratulations on the forward momentum. Sounds like you're ready to keep that energy going into the next week!

    1. Thanks, Michael, for the comment. It's amazing how easy it is though for that momentum to come to a halt. Bought a new used vehicle today, so kind of feel like I have to concentrate on the paying job again. Bummer.

  2. It certainly sounds like you are on a roll, which is wonderful, Chris. I find that the little bit of progress lead to bigger bits; it's like overcoming inertia.

I love the UP; we camped there about 10 years ago. Your picture reminds me of its impressive natural beauty.

    1. Thanks, Elizabeth, for the comment. We camped in the UP quite a bit when I was a kid and I am so thankful that a few years ago I was able to talk my husband into vacationing there. Now he is hooked too.
