Yes, I'm Confused.

So, how far are we into this Round? Only two weeks, right? So just because I still have not come up with any goals doesn't mean I have fallen completely off the tracks, does it? Just because this is only my second post of the new Round doesn't mean I won't be able to still get it together and finish strong, does it?

Ok, so let's not look at the big picture right now. Let's look at the next few weeks. I leave this Thursday for a convention for work. That means I have a few days to get ready for the convention (I have a speaking part on Saturday which I haven't even looked at), attend the convention and be home sometime Sunday afternoon.

The following weekend will be spent in a cleaning frenzy because the weekend after that we are having a surprise birthday party for my mother-in-law. And well, the weeks just keep adding up after that. Right now, I think my next totally free weekend is the end of June.

Ok, but what about my evenings? Believe it or not, and I don't even want to say this out loud, I think that spring has finally arrived in my neck of the woods. Yes, I still have three foot high snowbanks in places, but I also have a wide expanse of front yard which is bare. Yes, there truly was grass hibernating under all that snow! Who knew?

So evenings may be spent raking or running or just staring out the window absorbing something other than the white-ness which I have been looking at for six months.

I think that during the last Round I burned myself out, which, even though I have all the above excuses, is why I am dragging my feet right now. But I will survive. I will do it by taking baby steps. Right now I have one goal for the week - besides getting ready for that convention - I will blog about my vacation earlier this month.

That's it, that's all I got until next week. That and a picture.

I took this picture our first day on vacation, outside of a courthouse that I thought was cool. My question is: should they confuse people like that? I know there is a handicap accessible entrance in each direction, but it just seems like they should pick one to direct people to, because I know how easily people get confused.

  1. Well, shoot, Chris! Blogger ate my first comment! Anyway, baby steps are good, and no, it is not too late at all to start them!

As for the sign, it is very confusing. They should distinguish which courts are which direction, or something!
