Is this exciting or not?

All in all, despite a migraine late in the week, I have remained productive. I scored a 14 out of 20 points.
I posted three times this week on my other blog (3 points), I worked on my social networks twice (2 points), I recorded five hours of work on my book (5 points, but I still truly think I worked on it more than that. I need to check my clock in my office more often or remember to set a timer).

And of course, you already know if you read Wednesday's post, I sent a revision of my memoir to my publisher. (Everyone seems to agree that garners me an additional four points even though I had submitted it once already.) I heard back from him yesterday and he would like me to give him a call so we can set up an appointment to finalize some things. Yes! That is so exciting, albeit, scary. I know that there is still a lot of work to be done on it. I do what the book to come out the best that it possibly can so I rather not rush things at this stage. We will have to see how it all turns out.

I will keep you posted.

  1. I think it's exciting to make progress. In particular through migraines which are very debilitating.

    1. Thanks, Mark, for the comment and encouragement. After suffering my migraines for many years, I felt very fortunate that I had gone for three months without one. Small victories always count!

    2. I agree with Mark that being creative (or thinking at all) while having a migraine is just not doable for me. Great work on your part.
Very exciting about reaching the next step in publishing your book. Way to go!

  2. Can't wait to hear how things go with the revised memoir. I LOVE your point system. It's so interesting to see how everyone handles goals and achievements.

    Hope the migraines stay away!

    1. Thanks, Tia, for the comment and the support. Sometimes I do get a little anal about keeping track of things!

  3. Nice work—especially with a migraine. I can barely handle writing when I have one of those. One time when I was desperate to write despite the pain I used a bandana to tie an ice pack to my head. Yep, I got that desperate, lol.

Again, nicely done. Glad to find some fellow Row80ers.

    1. Jae, isn't it crazy the things we do? Things that only other writers would understand? Good luck with your migraines too.

  4. That's very productive, especially with the migraine! Migraines can just wipe you out for awhile. Keep up those good scores!
